What is bocconcini? The concept of the appetizer is known worldwide by many names – tapas, hors-d’œuvre, canapé, starter. In Italy we call them ‘bocconcini’ or “little bites”. One-bite morsels packed with flavor. We prepare and sample over a dozen boccconcini. Built upon crostini. Slipped onto a skewer – spiedini.
